How Jurassic Park's T-Rex Proves the Durability of Ford Vehicles

There have been a multitude of famous Ford appearances in movies, but it's Jurassic Park that proves the durability and resilience of the company's popular SUV. Decked out in the lime green and red Jurassic Park logo, the vehicle of choice for John Hammond to show his tour guests around the groundbreaking tourist attraction. It's apparent, upon the guests entering the vehicle, that there's plenty of space to stretch out with substantial legroom, and comfortable leather seats. But it's an instance of great peril, when the king of the Jurassic jungle shows up, that we see the many uses of the Ford as a safe vehicle.

Equipped with enormously large windows and a generous skylight, the guests in the vehicle have ample visibility to watch the fleeting dinosaurs behind their fences. In the daytime, the amount of window space would let in a large amount of light and prevent against any blind spots reducing the risk of a crash. Feel confident in the secure latching of the doors. The doors of the SUV latch with such sound security, the noise can attract the attention of a T. Rex. Upon becoming interested in the two children, the T. Rex effectively demonstrates both the car's durability and resilience. First, when he sticks his snout through the skylight, the material refuses to cave and break, which is impressive. He then forcefully nudges the car around, which attests to the incredible stability that it possesses. It takes more than one try for the T. Rex to send the vehicle on its back. And, while being bashed around, not a single window shatters. Already we can see that if ever caught in a compromising situation with a dinosaur, a Ford SUV would be a most preferable haven.

Now the car is upside down and being crushed by the enormous foot of the tyrannosaur. Remarkably, under this astounding pressure the steel frame doesn't bend or give. It only sinks further into the mud, retaining its original boxy shape. It's no secret that it is built tough. In a devastating crash, the durability of the car's frame would be a crucial assent in protecting the passengers. The auto continues to take abuse from the dinosaur until it's eventually hurled off a concrete cliff and lands in a tree. Still we see the car is well intact, and though it is no match for a tyrannosaur, it performs well under critical circumstances.

The most recent Ford model scores high across the board with impeccable crash-test ratings. Many models offer safety features like a roll over sensor (which would have triggered as the car was turned over by the dinosaur), antilock breaks and airbags in many different locations. This example, along with other famous Ford appearances in movies, attests to the durability of the product and the prominence of the brand.
